Mr. Simon Inkson, Powys Head of Housing,  visited Franksbridge School to learn about the beautiful hand-stitched slippers made by Class Two children as welcome gifts for Syrian refugees living in Powys. He was moved by the empathy and kindness shown by Franksbridge children and he will ensure that the slippers and welcoming letters reach the children  seeking asylum in our county.
